QUALITY PROGRAMS
SOS is a
premier national security corporation who knows how
important it is to have local, hands-on management and
expertise. We have never lost sight of the fact
that having experienced staff supported by senior
management in day-to-day operations is essential to the
implementation of our corporate philosophy.
That
philosophy is
embodied is in our “Pursuit of Excellence”, Team
Partnership Advantage and Diversity Programs.
Pursuit of Excellence
It
has always been our belief that in order for a business
to do well and serve the needs of its clients, it must
be founded upon a positive and consistent philosophy and
direction. Our goal was to develop a firm whose name
would be synonymous with quality and professionalism in
the field of security.
Quality leadership and performance are essential to the
long-term success of SOS. We believe building quality
into our services is vital to a successful future for
our clients and employees. The basic tenant of our
quality policy is to always meet of exceed the
expectations of our clients.
In
implementing our Pursuit of Excellence program, we
recognized that “Quality” is the most vital ingredient
to a long-term successful future. Our Pursuit of
Excellence program has three (3) common ingredients:
Quality, Client Satisfaction
and Achievement.
Components of SOS’s Pursuit of Excellence:
We are a customer service driven company
that is only as good as the service we provide. We are
committed to offer services with superiority in quality,
innovation and value. Management will commit the
resources necessary to create an environment designed to
accomplish this goal. Management will initiate and
support a quality improvement plan that will guide and
encourage implementation of this quality process.
What is critical for our success, is the total
commitment of every employee to “Total Quality”. Every
employees’ performance impacts upon our service in some
way.
“Total Quality”, is a site-by-site, post-by-post,
grassroots process, in which there is complete
participation and commitment by everyone.
At SOS, the client is our primary
concern. Our goal is to exceed our client’s
expectations. It is essential that we live up to
whatever commitments we make. We must also outperform
our competitors by demonstrating sensitivity and
responsiveness to our clients’ individual needs.
Therefore, we have created a “Client Satisfaction
Evaluation” process, wherein our clients are asked to
evaluate the quality of our security services. The
results are incorporated into a comprehensive written
measurement system, which is monitored on a periodic
basis.
The continued success and growth of SOS
is attributed to our most valuable resource - our
employees. SOS wants our employees to know that their
time and effort will be fairly rewarded. We wish to
create an environment in which each employee: (i) can
contribute talent and ideas to our organization; (ii),
is provided opportunity and a career path; and (iii)
feels that they are contributing to a worth while goal.
We must make sure our employees believe that good work
will be noticed, appreciated and rewarded.
Team Partnership Advantage
(TPA)
The most successful organizations realize the importance
of “Team Work” within their own corporate environment.
SOS has always been committed to the “Team Work”
approach. In 1990 SOS became a leader in the security
industry by taking the “Team Work” approach to the next
level - - Team Partnership Advantage (TPA).
For years, SOS has entered into partnerships with many
of our clients, which are based upon an open and
trusting relationship that recognizes the team-building
approach. TPA is an on-going process wherein the Client
and SOS work together to understand each other’s
business and specific security requirements, in order to
achieve a long-term mutually beneficial partnership.
Our partnerships are evaluated by a
comprehensive written measurement system with mutual
financial benefits.
Team Partnership Advantage three-phase process:
1.
Team Building Phase:
SOS and its Clients will commit the people and resources
necessary to establish a team to manage the Partnership
Process. The Partnership Team should consist of
individuals selected from the management, operations and
administrative areas of both organizations.
2.
Focus Phase:
The Team will concentrate on developing the scope and
specific requirements that are critical in meeting the
objective of a Team Partnership. These focus areas
include, but are not limited to, the following: (i)
Management Commitment, (ii) Contract, (iii) Service,
(iv) Safety Controls, (v) Uniform/Equipment Control,
(vi) Administrative Controls, (vii) Audit/Review
Procedures, (viii) Purchase Order/Invoice Processing
Control; (ix) Statistical/Benchmarking Methods, and (x)
Corrective Action.
3.
Team Partnership Phase:
The Team Partnership Phase is an on-going commitment to
continual improvement, based upon agreed benchmarking
requirements, including compliance, financial
objectives, pricing and cost saving incentives.
Diversity Program:
SOS Diversity:
The
employee mix will be representative of the SOS’s
Affirmative Action Program for sex, age, race, religion
and disability. SOS certifies that it is an Equal
Employment Opportunity Employer, and that Equal
Employment Opportunity reports are filed on an annual
basis.
SOS Supplier Diversity:
SOS is fully committed to our client’s Supplier
Diversity Programs. As part of this commitment, it is
the policy of SOS that Minority, Women and Veteran-owned
Business Enterprises (MWVBE) shall have the maximum
practicable opportunity to participate as an SOS
supplier, SOS Certified Licensed Associate, joint
venture or alliance. With respect to SOS’s
Certified Licensed Associates, we have established
a
pre-qualification and on-going verification process to
qualify and maintain Certified Licensed Associates
who perform subcontractor services on our behalf to meet
both SOS’s and our clients MWVBE requirements. These
companies have met SOS’s standards for integrity,
experience and professionalism as part of our
qualification process to become an SOS Certified
Licensed Associate. We are very confident that
they will adhere to the high customer service and
operational standards required by our clients.
We strongly believe in these types of relationships as
they add value to us as a corporation by meeting or
exceeding our diversity goals in the marketplace.
