The continued success and growth of SOS is attributable
to our most valuable resource – our employees.
SOS’s experienced human resource specialist and
supervisors, who understand the security business inside
and out, concentrate on selecting the best-qualified
candidates and maximizing their talents and abilities.
This joint effort affords SOS the advantage to hire
and match the best people to each site, and create
the right fit for every client. We then train
and supervise our security personnel to be their very
best. Finally, in order to ensure a high level of employee
satisfaction, we make sure our employees know that
they are respected and that their time and effort will
be fairly rewarded.

In conjunction with SOS’s promotion criterion,
we have established an Employment Selection Placement
Program (“ESP”), which selects the best
candidates and maximizes their talents and abilities. ESP
provides mutual benefits for both our employees and
clients.
From an employee standpoint, this program offers qualified
security personnel the opportunity to advance their
careers by transferring to a facility which will afford
them one or more of the following: (i) career
advancement via the Chain of Command; (ii) greater
responsibility; (iii) generally, higher earning potential;
and (iv) in the event that the client location is closer
to their home, a reduction in commuting time.
SOS employees are able to ascertain potential opportunities
through the following sources (i) “The Signal” newsletter,
(ii) our web site at www.sossecurity.com;
(iii) notices that are attached to bi-weekly paychecks,
or (iv) management/co-employee referral.
From a client standpoint, this program has proven
invaluable by (i) allowing existing, qualified SOS
security personnel to be assigned to a new client facility
who are already familiar with the SOS culture; (ii)
who have an established, ongoing favorable performance
history with SOS and (iii) who have demonstrated their
commitment to TP2000.
SOS’s commitment to continual quality improvement
is embodied in our “Pursuit of Excellence Program”,
which addresses three major areas: Quality, Client Satisfaction,
and Achievement. As an adjunct, we developed Team Partnership
2000 (TP2000) a partnership that SOS has entered into
with our clients, that has earned us the respect of other
professionals within the security industry and the support
and loyalty of our clients. This process is based upon
an open and trusting relationship, wherein the client
and SOS work together to understand each other’s
business, evaluate the scope and specific security requirements
and remove barriers in order to achieve the necessary
benchmarking requirements that ensure a long-term mutually
beneficial, quality partnership. We strongly believe
that the benefits offered by the Pursuit of Excellence
and TP 2000 Programs will keep team partnership on the “cutting
edge” of the security industry. |
