SOS maintains a State-of-the-Art 24-hour Command Center (800-SECURE-0). SOS dispatchers are individually trained by our Branch Managers. Each dispatcher is fully briefed with respect to his or her responsibilities and Standard Operating Procedures as they pertain to each client. As standard operating procedures differ for each facility, the Account Manager will assist in familiarizing the dispatch personnel with the necessary information pertaining to that facility. The dispatchers are familiar with the security requirements of each client and coordinate with supervisory and support staff, via pagers, hand-held radios, cellular phones, and/or Blackberry communication devices, to respond to emergencies and additional staffing through the utilization of the tactical unit. It is our policy and practice to develop a strong liaison and working relationship with local fire, police, corrections, and emergency medical and ambulance departments. We periodically participate in joint exercises and coordinate emergency planning.
