SOS in the Community
SOS Security corporate and regional offices are always finding ways to help their local community. Whether through donations or volunteerism, SOS Security employees around the country are modeling our corporate values of teamwork, dedication, corporate character daily.
SOS Security has partnered with B2B Network, a licensed provider of Under Armour products, to provide a Company Store for its employees and support a good cause. The store provides SOS Security’s national workforce access to high-quality company-branded merchandise. Employees receive a 20 percent discount on all products purchased through the store, and Under Armour donates 5 percent of each sale to the Boomer Esiason Foundation, a group dedicated to raise money, awareness, and support for the cystic fibrosis community.
Employees from our Nashville, TN Regional Office helped prepare and serve breakfast for 400 people at the Rescue Mission in Nashville. Nashville Rescue Mission provides hope to the hungry, homeless and hurting in Middle Tennessee. The Mission opened its doors its doors in 1954, originally to provide food, clothing and shelter for homeless men, but in 1968, the Mission expanded to meet the needs of the increasing numbers of homeless women and children in the community.
SOS Security NJ Branch employees participated in the SuperHearts Walk on June 4 in honor of a former employee, and now local law enforcement officer, whose daughter was born with a complex heart defect. The SOS Security team helped SuperHearts NJ not only meet, but exceed their goal by almost $10k! Way to go team!
SOS Security’s corporate office staff recently collected over 150 food items as part of a local food drive. The collection was donated to the Parsippany Food Pantry to help fill the shelves and help serve those in need. The Parsippany Food Pantry serves residents in need with ready-made bags of basic food staples such as canned goods, cereal and dried food.
During the holidays, employees fulfilled the wishes of 15 children ranging in age from infant to twelve years. We were also able to provide several additional toys that will be used to give to children who didn’t receive their Angel gifts. In addition to the Angel Tree, employees provided 25 stockings filled to near bursting for needy children in the local area.
