An SOS Security Officer noticed some water on the floor outside a laboratory at a pharmaceutical facility in New Jersey. The Officer discovered the source of the water leak, which had already begun to damage the lab. The situation was immediately communicated to site operations personnel and safety officers. After receiving verbal instructions from a facility technician, the Officer retrieved equipment from a mechanical room and began to pump water out of the flooding area. When help arrived, the Officer continued to assist in the clean up for over three hours. These actions helped prevent considerable damage that may have occurred to the facility and equipment. Congratulations to Officer Miller.
